During my times working in casinos I met a large amount of self proclaimed professional gamblers, including some who allegedly wrote books on roulette and who claimed when they played crowds would gather to watch them. A quick look at my computer would tell me that was all complete make believe. One of them was losing over 90% of his total drop. So perhaps he wrote a book on how to lose at roulette. Because that is an impressively awful result.
